Dream Catchers
HandcraftedNative American Legend tells that all dreams are caught in the Dream Catcher. Bad dreams are caught and held by the web until destroyed by the first rays of the morning sun. Good Dreams find their way through the webbing where they slip through and enter the life of the dreamer through personal adornments. Believe in its mystical powers and may you sleep more peacefully.
The Dream Catcher is one of the most beautiful traditions handed down by our American Indian ancestors & practiced yet today is that of the Dream Catcher.
They are made of artificial sinew, various & trade beads, assorted animal hides & feathers, a very special creation. No two are made alike, When I sit down to create one, I never quite know how it will be finished, I simply open my heart & let my soul Guide me on my perfect path so that I might do The Greatest Good with my abilities & feel fulfilled with my own unique destiny.
I have some amount of Cherokee blood in me, but sorry to say, I have yet to trace my ancestors to find out how much, but I respect the culture of all Native Americans, & for all those who have disappeared & left us wondering about their culture.
