It all started Christmas 1997, Monterey, California when my husband purchased a beautiful toy poodle for me whom we named Miss Prissy. It had been a number of years since I had had a toy poodle and I was thrilled to once again have a toy poodle to love and spoil, and a second toy poodle was added named Bunny Hop also in December 1997.
September 2001 my husband & myself was enjoying a late lunch while shopping in Fresno, California, my husband noticed an ad for a toy poodle for sale located in Visalia, California, my husband asked if I was interested and of course I couldn't say no, so that's how we started our small family business of breeding toy poodle puppies. As you can see from our Web Site, we have started out very small. I have recently purchased a few more toy poodles. I only breed my female toy poodles once a year. Our toy poodles are not just toy poodles, they are our "family". Each toy poodle has its own personality just like you or me. Baby Doll is always a "baby" wanting extra attention, Bunny Hop loves watching TV, and come bedtime, she tries to hid under our blankets so she doesn't have to go to bed in her Porta-Crib. Miss Prissy gets special attention and is usually paired with Bunny. The boys Sambo and Rusty via for attention and also from the girls.....Samantha is a very content lady, especially traveling, she loves to hide under my seat, with Rusty wanting to ride on the back of my neck. New additions, Honey Bee and Ruby are our Teacup females and Melvin our Teacup male toy poodle. We also have a few more toy poodle puppies to be added to our family page in the next few months so please keep checking back. I probably drive Teresa at TLC Website Design crazy with all the changes but I do try to keep my information on my website, toy poodles and toy poodle puppies current.
Our Toy Poodles are raised in our home with lots of Love. Toy Poodles are very social, each with their own personality. Toy Poodles are GREAT House Pets and for those people who suffer from allergies, this is a MUST, poodles do NOT shed, and this is a plus for house cleaning! (after all I don't know of anyone who loves to clean house). You have probably seen many different breeds of dogs that have been breed with toy poodles, to help achieve less shedding, I hate for pets to be advertised stating they only shed like a human does, well have you check out your hair brush, or shower drain, that's still lots of hair that's left behind on furniture and/or carpet to attack your clothes as soon as you sit down. Toy, Tiny Toy and Teacup Poodles are a great "lap-size pets" they don't weigh much, they are great for elderly people but like all toy puppies, they should be watched very closely with small children. Toy Poodles are highly intelligent and adaptable. They posse wonderful personalities that are comical, crafty, clever, loyal and friendly, traits that we wish would also be in all the people who we come in contact with, such would be a great world if all people posses these traits.
Toy Poodle Sizes - Teacup poodles are usually between 2 to 4 lbs and Tiny Toy Poodles are between 4 to 6 lbs. However this is not always the final word on this as some toy poodles are sometimes over weight, but its a good guide to go by. Toy Poodles are also measured in height but there are two different types of toy poodles, there are those whose legs are shorter and are more solid which tend to weight more, then you have the more delicate look with a taller legs and they tend to weigh less. This is only a guide to go by, nothing set in stone.
Our toy poodles are our family, this is an opportunity to make one a part of your family. Just remember if you decide to purchase one of our toy poodle puppies, this is a long time commitment that can last 10 to 15 years. We raise quality toy poodle puppies at reasonable rates, transportation is available upon request by contacting us. We are located not far from Chillicothe, Ohio.
Once our toy poodle puppies are born their pictures are posted in the Poodle Puppy Nursery. To reserve a toy poodle puppy, a $200.00 non-refundable deposit will be applied towards the price of the toy poodle puppy. A Toy Poodle Puppy will not be delivered or ready for pick-up until the entire amount has been paid in full.
